The CW’s telenovela-inspired series Jane the Virgin casts Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey as a recurring character for the show’s already confirmed season 4. Even though he said a lingering goodbye in Avengers: Infinity War, Peter Parker will still be back for the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, the character’s smash-hit first MCU standalone. Opposing Parker for the sequel will be the villain Mysterio, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal. In Marvel Comics lore, Mysterio is the supervillain alter-ego of Quentin Beck, a special effects wizard and stunt man who grows disillusioned with Hollywood and decides to use his expertise for evil ends....

Avatar director James Cameron says the leaked sequels titles are real – but could easily change. The original Avatar spent a long time in development, with Cameron waiting for technology to catch up with his futuristic version. The story found paraplegic marine Jake Sully brought to the planet Pandora, where his consciousness is transferred into an avatar Na’vi body so he can navigate the world and interact with others members of the Na’vi race....

A rumored Japan Display rescue plan has been confirmed by the company, providing the funding it needs to move into OLED production. The company, which already makes LCD screens for Apple, hopes to do the same for OLED iPhones … Reuters reports that the total financing package could be worth almost a billion dollars. Japan Display didn’t name the ‘external investors,’ but two separate reports have suggested that the investment is being led by China’s state-backed Silk Road Fund....

Justice League: The Art of the Film shared a number of behind the scenes pieces of information for excited film fans including more insight into Jeremy Irons’s Alfred Pennyworth. While Alfred has seen a number of incarnations throughout the history of the Batman franchise from the 1960s series starring Adam West to Gotham’s Sean Pertwee. Ben Affleck’s Batman, the character’s latest incarnation, first introduced Alfred in Batman V Superman. Played by Jeremy Irons, Batman V Superman saw him play both Bruce’s chief of security and chief comforter....

According to David Ayer, James Gunn’s upcoming The Suicide Squad movie will be in a different continuity than Ayer’s version. Ayer directed 2016’s Suicide Squad, which starred Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto. Warner Bros. first announced a sequel to Suicide Squad ahead of the first movie’s release in 2016. Production on The Suicide Squad began this past September in Georgia. While details about the movie are still scarce, there are reports that it will revolve around Amanda Waller enlisting the help of the team to deal with an extraterrestrial threat in Panama....

Apple’s 10th store in Japan is coming soon to Kawasaki, a first for the city. The new store will be Apple’s fourth to open, move, or expand throughout Japan in 2019.
